Lastest news: Vivienne has recently installed her public art sculpture titled “Kookaburra’s Concert” in Hughes Park, Lane Cove. Commissioned by Lane Cove Council, the stainless steel sculpture depicts a Laughing Kookaburra sitting atop a discarded music stand. It references the music connection linking the home of the Lane Cove Band in the nearby Community Centre opposite. Plus, many may know the “Kookaburra Song” composed by Marion Sinclair in 1932, which was widely taught to school children.

These references to music and laughter are inherent to the design to bring a smile to those who view the sculpture.
