Comments: One of the “Core” series- the idea of the “Core”as the metaphorical vessel representing our inner strength and being.
This piece is made of recycled corks and is a reminder of the world in which we live. For our planet to survive, we need to be mindful of our ecosystems.
Most of the corks are from bottles of red wine: red wine being symbolic of the blood of Christ suggests another level of our inner being.
